We should mention about the upset which took place in Caceres, where higher ranked Lima-Horta (5-6) lost to thirteenth ranked Al-Qazeres (4-8) in a road game 63-76 on Saturday. Al-Qazeres outrebounded Lima-Horta 52-28 including a 38-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Azerbaijani-American guard Alexy Mollenhauer (183-98, college: Anderson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Patricia Vicente (176-98) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Marina Valles (173-98, college: NW Nazarene) with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and center Nairin de la Torre (190-96) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al-Qazeres moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Joventut. Loser Lima-Horta keeps the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Paterna. Al-Qazeres will meet higher ranked Jairis (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lima-Horta will play against Estepona (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
