Regular Season Round 13: AZS UJK - MKS Ochota 84-69

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked AZS UJK (3-9) won against 10th ranked MKS Ochota (5-7) in Kielce 84-69 on Saturday. Patryk Lis (192-99) nailed 28 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Oskar Zyczkowski (207-1) accounted for 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four AZS UJK players scored in double figures. Tomasz Rudko (197-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Piotr Dabrowski (170-89) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for MKS Ochota in the defeat. MKS Ochota's coach Pawel Malinowski rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS UJK moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser MKS Ochota dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. AZS UJK will meet higher ranked Zubry (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS Ochota will play against the league's second-placed LKS Lodz (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
