Very predictable result when third ranked Alcobendas (11-1) outscored on the road 14th ranked Plasencia (3-9) 85-65 on Saturday. Alcobendas made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Alcobendas outrebounded Plasencia 40-24 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Rachel Howard (178-95, college: USF) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Lucia Togores (176-96) who added 18 points and 4 steals during the contest. Four Alcobendas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Kamilah Jackson (183-92, college: Hawaii) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Bulgarian point guard Karina Konstantinova (173-99) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcobendas have an impressive nine-game winning streak.
