Regular Season Round 13: Przemysl - AZS PCz 66-57

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Przemysl (8-5) beat at home 10th ranked AZS PC (4-9) 66-57 on Saturday. Przemysl forced 31 AZS PC turnovers. Guard Rafal Serwanski (188-0) nailed 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and forward Konrad Strzepek (198-95) accounted for 4 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Marcin Majcherek (199-99) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and forward Tomasz Nogalski (192-79) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for AZS PC in the defeat. Four AZS PC players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Przemysl. Newly promoted Przemysl maintains eighth place with 8-5 record. AZS PC lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Przemysl will meet higher ranked Mickiewicz (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS PC will play against Tarnow (#16) and hope to secure a win.
