Nike SBL round 11 most important game was a victory of Lucenec over 4th placed Handlova 97-70 on Saturday night. Lucenec made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Handlova's players. American guard Desure Buie (179-97, college: Hofstra) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 8 assists. His fellow American import swingman Che Bob (198-96, college: Colorado St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Bob is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Lucenec players scored in double figures. The former international center Michal Cekovsky (211-94, college: Maryland, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 30 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Deandre Abram (203-97, college: Milwaukee) added 9 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Handlova. Lucenec maintains third place with 6-4 record having just two points less than leader Levice. Handlova at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Lucenec are looking forward to face league's second-placed Komarno at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Handlova will play against Spisski Rytieri in Nova Ves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
