Regular Season Round 9: Treviso - Udine 47-69

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Treviso (0-9) was rolled over at home by sixth ranked Udine (5-2) 69-47 on Saturday. Udine outrebounded Treviso 36-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Vittoria Blasigh (175-4) who scored 18 points. Guard Lucia Missanelli (180-98) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Udine players scored in double figures. Udine's coach Massimo Riga felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovakian center Alica Moravcikova (190-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Cecilia Zagni (180-95) added 11 points respectively. Udine maintains sixth place in A2 with 5-2 record. Newly promoted Treviso still closes the standings with nine games lost. Udine will meet at home higher ranked Milano (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Treviso will play against Carugate (#9) in Corugate and hopes to get finally their first victory.
