There was no surprise when 3rd ranked Rieti Real (7-3) was outplayed on the road by first ranked Roseto (9-1) 91-68 on Sunday. Roseto outrebounded Rieti Real 34-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Roseto looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Rieti Real's players. The former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Guard Edoardo Di Emidio (189-93) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. Guard Marco Contento (191-91) produced 10 points and swingman Federico Loschi (196-90) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Roseto maintains first position in B with 9-1 record, which they share with Mestre and Cividale. Loser Rieti Real dropped to the fourth place with three games lost.
