Very expected game when 11th ranked Azulejos (3-7) was edged at home by fifth ranked Castello (7-3) 75-72 on Sunday. Castello forced 19 Azulejos turnovers and had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Portuguese point guard Joana Ferreira (174-90) scored 20 points (made all of her eight free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and Luz De Giacomo chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Castello's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side center Ana Hernando (185-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Ana Relancio (-1) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
