Very expected game when 13th ranked Sangiorgese (3-8) was defeated on the road by third ranked Vigevano (9-2) 75-63 on Wednesday. Vigevano made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Nicolo Gatti (196-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 assists. Power forward Gianluca Giorgi (200-95) helped adding 8 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Alessandro Voltolini (192-1) responded with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Francesco Toso (204-96, agency: SLN) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Vigevano moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Mestre and Cremona. Loser Sangiorgese dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Padova V. and Crema. Vigevano will meet league's second-placed Omegna on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sangiorgese will play against Borgomanero (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
