Regular Season Round 9: KAM Basket - Buducnost 61-87

Rather predictable result in Kamenica where leader Montenegrin Buducnost (8-0) smashed 5th ranked North Macedonian KAM Basket (2-7) 87-61 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Buducnost led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Buducnost forced 19 KAM Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by KAM Basket's players. The best player for the winners was Mina Djordjevic (188-99) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Dragana Zivkovic (183-1) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Buducnost's coach felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Snezana Aleksic (173-89) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively. Buducnost have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first place with 8-0 record. KAM Basket lost seventh consecutive game. Defending North Macedonian champion keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Buducnost will meet league's second-placed Orlovi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KAM Basket will have a break next round.
