Round 9 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Bulgarian Montana (7-2). They were crushed by third ranked Slovenian Celje (7-1) 77-51 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Montana. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Celje. Montana managed to win third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Montana to just 4 points in second quarter. Celje made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game.
