Very predictable result when fifth ranked Zamarat (9-4) rolled over 10th ranked Paterna (5-7) in Zamora 80-53 on Wednesday. Zamarat forced 22 Paterna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Gala Mestres (185-94, college: Mount Royal) nailed 12 points for the winning side and American guard Morgan Green (170-96, college: UC Irvine, agency: Gamble Sports Management) accounted for 14 points. Polish center Emily Kalenik (193-4) came up with 8 points and power forward Iciar German (185-86) added 6 points and 4 assists respectively for Paterna in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zamarat. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Granada. Paterna lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost.
