There was no surprise in Podgorica where 5th ranked North Macedonian KAM Basket (2-8) was crushed by top-ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (10-0) 83-46 on Thursday. The game without a history. Buducnost led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held KAM Basket to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded KAM Basket 52-36 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Buducnost looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Mina Djordjevic (188-99) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Amra Bajrovic (177-97) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Buducnost's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Snezana Aleksic (173-89) scored 7 points and 7 assists. Buducnost have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first position with 10-0 record. KAM Basket lost eighth consecutive game. Defending North Macedonian champion keeps the fifth place with eight games lost.
