Undefeated leader Kutaisi delivered the seventh consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Tskhum-Abkhazeti (3-4) 97-64. The game was mostly controlled by Kutaisi. Tskhum-Abkhazeti managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kutaisi forced 21 Tskhum-Abkhazeti turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tskhum-Abkhazeti's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of international power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (207-91) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Five Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Guard Levan Maskhulia (201-96) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and international swingman Nika Chechelashvili (195-99) scored 13 points. Tskhum-Abkhazeti's coach Irakli Dzidziguri gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kutaisi (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
