Regular Season Round 14: Prudnik - Rydzyna 81-87

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Rycerze (13-1) defeated on the road 4th ranked Prudnik (11-3) 87-81 on Saturday. Center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) chipped in 26 points during the contest. Center Tomasz Nowakowski (207-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Five Rycerze and four Prudnik players scored in double figures. Rycerze have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Pleszew and Poznan. Loser Prudnik dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Rycerze will meet at home Slask 3 (#4) in the next round. Prudnik will play against Olesnica and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
