The best player for the winners was American-Turkish guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Keenan Evans (191-96, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Maccabi Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Derek Pardon (203-96, college: Northwestern) who recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks and the other American import guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Hapoel Beer Sheva's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with H.Holon and H.Galil Elion. Loser Hapoel Beer Sheva dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with H.Galil Gilboa and H.Haifa. Maccabi Tel-Aviv will meet Galil Elion (#4) in the next round. Hapoel Beer Sheva will play against Hapoel Haifa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
