Regular Season Round 9: Sedmica - Montenegro 75-84

Bottom-ranked Sedmica (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-75 loss to fourth ranked Montenegro (6-2) in Podgorica. They also forced 19 Sedmica turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Petar Visnjic who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Luka Djurovic (198-95) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Srdja Bulatovic answered with 30 points, 7 assists and 9 steals and Novak Pekovic added 15 points in the effort for Sedmica. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegro have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Sedmica at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with nine games lost. Montenegro will play against Podgorica-2 (#5) at home in the next round. Sedmica will play against Rudar (#10) in Pljevlja and hopes to get finally their first victory.
