No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Adareva (8-2) crushed 14th ranked De La Torre (1-11) in Tenerife 67-42 on Saturday. Adareva forced 22 De La Torre turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Alba Pena (176-95) who led the winners and scored 20 points. Mali Fatoumata Fofana (-96) accounted for 4 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Adareva's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Carmen Ramirez (-2) came up with 6 points and 8 rebounds and Ana Moyano (-96) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for De La Torre in the defeat. Adareva have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group A. De La Torre lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Adareva will meet Genero (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. De La Torre will play against GDKO Bizkaia in Galdakao and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
