Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Gomel (7-6) smashed at home 9th ranked Grodno GrSU (2-11) 118-69 on Saturday. The game without a history. Gomel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Grodno GrSU's 22. Gomel forced 24 Grodno GrSU turnovers and outrebounded them 51-32 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Grodno GrSU's players.
