Regular Season Round 13: Prievidza - Inter Bratislava 70-79

Bottom-ranked Prievidza (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 79-70 loss to seventh ranked Inter Bratislava (5-7) in Prievidza on Saturday evening. American point guard Trevor Blondin (193-96, college: Seton Hill) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and Bosnian forward Jure Zubac (203-95, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Josh McFolley (185-97, college: Detroit) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and the other American import center Tyler Creammer (208-97, college: VMI) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Inter Bratislava moved-up to sixth place. Prievidza lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Inter Bratislava will meet at home higher ranked Handlova (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Prievidza will play against Lucenec and hopes to get finally their first victory.
