Very expected game when 10th ranked Charnay (2-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bourges (7-2) 85-67 on Saturday. Bourges dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Charnay's 18 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Bourges forced 27 Charnay turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Elodie Godin (191-85) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. International Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Bourges players scored in double figures. Bourges' coach Olivier Lafargue used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Lexie Brown (175-94, college: Duke) who recorded 36 points (!!!) and 6 steals and Mali center Kankou Coulibaly (187-90, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Bourges have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Flammes. Charnay lost fourth consecutive game.
