Very expected game in Las Palmas where 15th ranked Gran Canaria (3-9) was defeated by second ranked Valencia (10-2) 56-50 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American center Celeste Trahan-Davis (186-85, college: ECSU, agency: LBM Management) who scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Angela Salvadores (178-97, college: Duke) chipped in 16 points. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
