Regular Season Round 10: Crema - Alpo 105-65

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Crema as it allowed them to take a leadership position in A2. Crema smashed 5th ranked Alpo at home 105-65. Crema dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Alpo's 40. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Carolina Pappalardo (181-96) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Alice Nori (183-93) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Crema's coach Mirco Diamanti felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sofia Marangoni (177-95) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Nene Diene (184-92) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Alpo. Five Crema and four Alpo players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Alpo at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Alpo will play next round against Bolzano BC trying to get back on the winning streak. Crema will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked Treviso on the road.
