The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Estonian Tallina U.'s (3-10) road victory over bottom-ranked Lithuanian LCC Tarp. (0-9) 61-56 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 34-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Laina Mesila-Kaarmann (186-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds and Jane Svilberg (181-95) who added 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Laurita Jurciute (178-98) responded with 32 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Serbian center Vanja Petrovic (191-1) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. LCC Tarp.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tallina U. moved-up to ninth place. Loser LCC Tarp. still closes the standings with nine games lost. Tallina U. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LCC Tarp. will play against the league's second-placed TTT Riga (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
