Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Civitanova (1-11) was outscored at home by seventh ranked Ancona (8-4) 86-64 on Sunday. Ancona dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Civitanova's 16. They outrebounded Civitanova 35-15 including a 11-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Alberto Cacace (198-96) who scored that evening 16 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Simone Pozzetti (200-90) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
