Very important is a road loss of third ranked Boras Basket (10-5) against sixth ranked SBBK (8-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting Boras Basket was crushed by SBBK in Sodertalje 103-77. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Boras Basket. SBBK dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Boras Basket's 20 and made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. SBBK shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a great evening for the former international forward Anton Gaddefors (200-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. The former international point guard Jonathan Person (190-93) helped adding 7 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four SBBK players scored in double figures. At the losing side international William Gutenius (206-92) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and John Brandmark (201-97) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SBBK moved-up to fifth place. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. SBBK will play against Koping Stars (#8) on the road in the next round. Boras Basket will have a break next round.
