An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Novi Sad. Third ranked Serbian 021 faced one of their biggest challengers Slovenian Triglav. Host 021 (6-4) smashed guests from Kranj (5-5) 71-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Triglav. The game was mostly controlled by 021. Triglav managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Triglav to just 5 points in fourth quarter. 021 made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Triglav 37-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. American Sara Loomis (188-97, college: Ashland) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Zaklina Jankovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 8 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. 021's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Crystal Allen (175-95, college: Ole Miss) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and center Lara Bubnic (190-99) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. 021 maintains third position with 6-4 record having just six point less than leader Celje. Triglav at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
