Regular Season Round 15: Lublin 2 - WKK Wroclaw 83-67

We should mention about the upset which took place in Lublin, where higher ranked WKK Wroclaw (8-7) lost to tenth ranked Lublin 2 (7-7) in a road game 67-83 on Wednesday. Lublin 2 outrebounded WKK Wroclaw 41-29 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for guard Bartlomiej Pelczar (185-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists. Forward Damian Jeszke (202-95) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) with 15 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lublin 2 moved-up to eighth place. Loser WKK Wroclaw dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Lublin 2 will meet at home higher ranked AZS PO (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WKK Wroclaw will have a break next round.
