Very expected game when 8th ranked IK Eos (6-7) lost to fourth ranked Visby Ladies (9-4) in Lund 90-97 on Saturday. Visby Ladies made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Visby Ladies outrebounded IK Eos 42-25 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Jessica Kelliher (183-97, college: Lewis) nailed a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 4 assists (on 16-of-21 shooting from the field) for the winning side and her fellow American import guard Davion Wingate (168, college: FGCU) accounted for 24 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Jayde Christopher (173-97, college: Boise St.) came up with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Norwegian Karoline Teigland (173-96) added 26 points (made all of her eight free throws) respectively for IK Eos in the defeat. Four Visby Ladies and five IK Eos players scored in double figures. Visby Ladies moved-up to second place, which they share with A3 Basket and Ostersund. Loser IK Eos keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Visby Ladies will meet at home league's second-placed A3 Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. IK Eos will play against Mark (#6) in Kinna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
