The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Azulejos' (4-8) home victory over 13th ranked Marratxi (1-11) 72-43 on Saturday. Azulejos dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Marratxi's 20. The best player for the winners was center Ana Hernando (185-90) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Ana Relancio (-1) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Azulejos' coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
