Bottom-ranked Tarbes managed to get a second victory, breaking the six-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they edged seventh-ranked Gazelles 76-74. American swingman Julie Wojta (185-89, college: Green Bay) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Ana Tadic (197-98, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Haley Peters (190-92, college: Duke) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international Mamignan Toure (183-94) scored 23 points. Four Gazelles players scored in double figures. Tarbes (2-8) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Charnay. Loser Gazelles dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Hainaut. Tarbes will meet at home Charnay (#11) in the next round. Gazelles will play against the league's leader Bourges having rather not much hope for a victory.
