They outrebounded Granada 44-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American-Nigerian center Nneka Ezeigbo (188-98, college: RMU) who saved her team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Morgan Green (170-96, college: UC Irvine, agency: Gamble Sports Management) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Zamarat's coach Jacinto Carbajal allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Shannon Coffee (196-97, college: Stanford) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian Andrea Boquete (183-90) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Granada. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zamarat have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Jairis. Granada at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Zamarat will play against Al-Qazeres (#13) in Caceres in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Granada will play on the road against Azkoitia (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
