There was no surprise in Charnay-les-Macon where 11th ranked Charnay (2-8) was edged by ninth ranked Hainaut (4-6) 81-79 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Peyton Williams (193-98, college: Kansas St.) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Janee Thompson (170-93, college: Kentucky) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Hainaut players scored in double figures.
