Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Faenza (6-8) smashed at home 12th ranked Jesi (3-9) 101-81 on Sunday. Faenza made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Faenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Naturalized Argentinian guard Sebastian Vico (190-86) fired 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. Giovanni Poggi (201-97) chipped in 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Faenza's coach Alberto Serra used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Mirko Gloria (203-95, agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and Massimiliano Ferraro (198-98) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Faenza moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Monfalcone. Loser Jesi dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Faenza will meet higher ranked Ozzano (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
