Very expected game when 11th ranked Dinamo (1-7) lost to third ranked Vera (7-2) in Tbilisi 92-101 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-92. American forward Zac Seljaas (202-97, college: BYU) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Aubrey McAlpine (196-89, college: RMU, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. McAlpine is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Vera players scored in double figures. American forward Dante Thompson (201-93, college: GBC) came up with 23 points and 7 rebounds and forward Vladimer Tavakarashvili (197-2) added 26 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for Dinamo in the defeat. Dinamo's coach Talba Toudjani tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Vera have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain third place with 7-2 record having just one point less than leader Kutaisi. Dinamo lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost.
