No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked IDK Eustotren (7-7) crushed 13th ranked Gran Canaria (4-10) in San Sebastian 82-60 on Tuesday. IDK Eustotren made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (192-97) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and American swingman Alex Harden (180-93, college: Wichita St.) supported her with 12 points and 5 assists. Four IDK Eustotren players scored in double figures. Coach Aranzazu Muguruza's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds by Mali power forward Sika Kone (190-2) did not help to save the game for Gran Canaria. Bahamas guard Valerie Nesbitt (173-98, college: Ole Miss) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. IDK Eustotren moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Estudiantes and Zaragoza. Loser Gran Canaria keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Ensino and Bembibre. IDK Eustotren will meet bottom-ranked Clarinos (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gran Canaria will play against the league's leader Avenida and hope to secure a win.
