Rather expected game when 9th ranked Poznan (2-10) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Bydgoszcz (7-5) 63-55 on Wednesday. American center Jillian Alleyne (190-94, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Swedish swingman Nathalie Fontaine (188-93, college: Ball St., agency: LBM Management) chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. American forward Taya Reimer (193-95, college: Michigan St., agency: Shark Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-90) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Poznan's coach Grzegorz Zielinski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bydgoszcz moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gorzow Wlkp. Poznan lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Bydgoszcz will meet league's leader Polkowice on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Poznan will have a break next round.
