Very predictable result when seventh ranked H.Afula (7-6) won against on the road 14th ranked M.Ashdod (3-10) 90-84 on Tuesday. American center Michael Holyfield (211-92, college: SHSU) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Keron DeShields (190-92, college: Tennessee St., agency: BIG) supported him with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Even a double-double of 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American-Puerto Rican Christopher Ortiz (203-93, college: Kent St.) did not help to save the game for M.Ashdod. The former international Raviv Pitshon (198-89) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. H.Afula moved-up to sixth place, which they share with E.Ashkelon.
