No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Sokolow P. (7-7) crushed 12th ranked GTK 2 (2-12) in Gdynia 70-45 on Thursday. Sokolow P. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to GTK 2's 16. Sokolow P. forced 26 GTK 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by GTK 2's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sokolow P. made 7 blocks. Forward Aleksandra Iwaniuk (177-0) nailed 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and forward Ewelina Jackowska (187-93) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks.
