Regular Season Round 12: Civitanova - Valdarno 44-65

Serie A2 top team - Valdarno (10-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Civitanova (4-7) in Civitanova Marche 65-44. Valdarno forced 22 Civitanova turnovers. The winners were led by forward Angelica Tibe (184-96) who scored that evening 9 points and 11 rebounds and forward Elena Ramo (183-94) supported her with 17 points. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by guard Giorgia Bocola (182-0) did not help to save the game for Civitanova. Forward Jessica Trobbiani (170-89) added 6 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Valdarno maintains first position in A2 with 10-2 record. Civitanova at the other side dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. Valdarno will play against Matelica (#14) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Civitanova will play against the league's second-placed La Spezia (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
