Regular Season Round 17: MKS Ochota - Radom Kolejarz 66-76

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Warszawa where tenth ranked Radom Kolejarz (7-9) defeated 9th ranked MKS Ochota (6-9) 76-66 on Saturday. Radom Kolejarz dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to MKS Ochota's 28. The best player for the winners was point guard Daniel Kotwasinski (185-99) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Maciej Parszewski (195-94) chipped in 16 points. Forward Mikolaj Jesionek (190-92) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and Tomasz Rudko (197-89) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Radom Kolejarz moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Hutnik W-wa. Loser MKS Ochota dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Radom Kolejarz will meet at home league's second-placed Zubry in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS Ochota will play against Ostrow Mazow.
