Regular Season Round 17: Slask 3 - Sudety 73-81

There was a surprise result in Wroclaw where thirteenth ranked Sudety (4-12) defeated 4th placed Slask 3 (11-5) 81-73 on Saturday. Sudety looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Lukasz Niesobski (189-85) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 15 assists. Power forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Wojciech Siembiga (195-3) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and forward Jakub Bereszynski (197-4) added 7 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Slask 3's coach Jacek Krzykala let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sudety maintains thirteenth place in Group D with 4-12 record. Slask 3 lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Katy Wroc.. Sudety will meet at home league's leader Pleszew in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask 3 will play against Klodzko and hope to secure a win.
