Eleventh-ranked CFBB (2-10) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked SIG (9-3) in Paris. The visitors from llkirch-Graff. managed to secure only two-point victory 55-53. However their fans expected much easier game. SIG made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 CFBB turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian-Serbian forward Stephany Skrba (188-87, college: Michigan, agency: Areus Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Louise Dambach (176-96) who added 10 points, 6 assists and 5 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Leila Lacan (174-4) with 19 points and 4 steals and center Rosanne Le Seyec (195-4) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. CFBB's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SIG used an opportunity after Mondeville lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. CFBB lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with ten games lost. SIG will play against Champagne (#4) in Reims in the next round. CFBB will play on the road against Reze (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
