The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (9-4) in Rosh Pina on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by eleventh ranked Galil Gilboa (5-8) 78-72. British-American power forward Sacha Killeya-Jones (212-98, college: NC State) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Naturalized American Michael Brisker (184-98) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Nigerian Suleiman Braimoh (203-89, college: Rice) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Jalen Adams (191-95, college: UConn) added 16 points and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Galil Gilboa moved-up to ninth place. Hapoel Jerusalem at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Galil Gilboa are looking forward to face higher ranked Hapoel Haifa (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hapoel Jerusalem will play against Hapoel Eilat (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
