Regular Season Round 10: Ulriken - Asker 109-62

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bergen. Top-ranked Ulriken faced 3rd ranked Asker. Host Ulriken (11-0) smashed guests from Asker (8-3) 109-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Asker. Ulriken dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Asker's 36. Ulriken forced 20 Asker turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Ulriken's coach DuRell Sandford felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Ingrid Selvik (178-92) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds and forward Siri Granheim (178-94) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Ulriken have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Asker at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Ulriken are looking forward to face Midtbyen (#4) in Trondheim in the next round. Asker will play at home against Ullern and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
