Regular Season Round 15: Milano - Tortona 72-60

Serie A top team - Milano (13-1) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Tortona (7-7) 72-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tortona. They outrebounded Tortona 51-29 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for Ghanian-American Ben Bentil (204-95, college: Providence) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. American swingman Devon Hall (196-95, college: Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Milano players scored in double figures. American swingman JP Macura (196-95, college: Xavier) came up with 16 points and the other American import point guard Chris Wright (185-89, college: Georgetown) added 18 points respectively for Tortona in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Milano maintains first place with 13-1 record. Newly promoted Tortona keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Venezia. Milano will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tortona will play against Brescia (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
