There was no surprise when 14th ranked Monopoli AN (4-10) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Ruvo di Puglia (9-5) 86-80 on Sunday. Guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) scored 19 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Gianni Cantagalli (194-88, agency: SLN) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
