Regular Season Round 17: KKS Basket - Miedzychod 74-86

Very expected game in Poznan where 13th ranked KKS Basket (4-10) was defeated by fourth ranked Miedzychod (12-4) 86-74 on Sunday. Miedzychod looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) who scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Marcin Wrobel (200-87) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Four Miedzychod players scored in double figures. Swingman Lukasz Kupczynski (190-99) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and Krzysztof Martuzalski (193-93) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Miedzychod. They moved-up to third place in Group A. Newly promoted KKS Basket keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Miedzychod will meet at home league's second-placed Notec Inowr. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
