Regular Season Round 14: Wisla Krakow - Leszno 57-76

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Leszno (10-4) smashed on the road 8th ranked Wisla Krakow (5-8) 76-57 on Sunday. They outrebounded Wisla Krakow 54-31 including a 26-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Magdalena Ratajczak (188-95) who scored 8 points and 23 rebounds. Point guard Iga Walentowska (170-94) chipped in 29 points. Martyna Stasiuk (178-89) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and forward Karolina Zuziak (176-0) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leszno moved-up to third place, which they share with Pabianice. Loser Wisla Krakow keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Zgorzelec. Leszno will meet at home Rybnik (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wisla Krakow will play against Katy Wrocl. in Katy Wroclawskie and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
