No shocking result in a game when third ranked Puerto Sagunto (9-5) beat 6th ranked L'Alcora (3-8) in Gilet 70-56 on Saturday. Puerto Sagunto forced 21 L'Alcora turnovers. The winners were led by Jesus Cerisuelo (-98) who scored that evening 17 points and swingman Carlos Sales (194-98) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by American guard Isaiah Willis (191-94, college: NAU) did not help to save the game for L'Alcora. Center Alfonso Ribera (202-1) added 8 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Puerto Sagunto maintains third position in Group E-A with 9-5 record having just three points less than leader Lliria, which they share with Esportiu. Loser L'Alcora keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
